Joint Center Expansion

Expansion of the CT Joint Center is underway, based on regional demand for hip, knee and other joint replacement surgery. Three years ago the center opened with nine rooms, and the addition of two aditional private rooms is expected to be complete within a few months. More than 500 procedures are done a year by Milford Hospital joint specialists. The center includes large rooms that allow patients to easily move about, and house ortho equipment such as walkers, crutches, commodes and CPM knee machines. Rooms have large handicap bathrooms with elevated toilets. New flat screen TVs & custom maple cabinetry complete the healthy ambiance.
